Research interest Investigate the fundamental issues related with the conversion of solar energy into chemical energy during photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic processes. Explore the possibility of commercializing the as-obtained lab-based results. At present, two research fields are focused: 1. Development of dual function photoelectrochemical-chemical coupled reaction system for the simultaneous remediation of waste and the production of useful chemicals. Target waste is H2S and urine. 2. Engineering of photoelectrode interfaces towards efficient solar water splitting.
